Step 01 — Design

However you drew it, we can quote it.

We are not a design house. We will not redraw your machine or bill you to think about it. Send the list — components, custom parts, quantities — and we price every line on it.

Integrates with DonutOS

Working from DonutOS

DonutOS is Donut Lab’s design environment. You build the whole machine in it — the electrical architecture, the structure, every component — and it hands you a complete bill of materials.

Export that list and send it to us. Part numbers, quantities and custom geometry all arrive in a form we can read, so nothing is retyped and nothing is misread. We quote straight from the file.

01

Finish the design

Resolve the architecture and the structure in DonutOS.

02

Export the bill of materials

Catalogue components, custom parts, quantities.

03

Send us the file

We price every line and come back with lead times.

Any other source

Not using DonutOS?

No DonutOS? A spreadsheet and a folder of STEP files works just as well. That is how most of what we quote arrives.

Send us

A bill of materials

A spreadsheet of part numbers and quantities. Enough to price every bought part on it.

Send us

CAD or STEP files

The geometry we machine, print, fold or cut from.

Send us

Drawings

Where the tolerance or the finish matters more than the solid model.

Or just

A part number

One line is a perfectly good order.

Send what you have

Design

A DonutOS export, a spreadsheet, a folder of STEP files. We quote every line on it — bought parts and made parts together.

Catalogue parts we either have or we get. Custom parts we machine, print, fold or mould. One purchase order, one invoice, one delivery.

We put the machine together, power it up, check it runs, and ship it. You get a working prototype instead of forty boxes.

A hundred units or a hundred thousand. Same bill of materials, same drawings, same people who built the first one.
